  1. Double Rostering:  A 13-year-old (a “13”) (born between May 1st 1994 and April 30th 1995) player can be rostered on a Junior team and a Prep team.
    1. A 13 cannot be the starting pitcher in a Junior Babe Ruth game.
    2. A 13’s innings pitched in a Junior game count toward that player’s totals for the week.
    3. If a scheduling conflict arises, the 13’s prep team comes first.
  1. Pitching:
    1. A pitcher is capped at seven innings per week.
    2. A week runs from Monday to Sunday
    3. All innings pitched, regardless of league, count toward the pitcher’s total.
    4. No pitcher can pitch more the seven innings in any two consecutive games.
    5. One pitch thrown in an inning constitutes a full inning pitched.
  1. Playoffs:
    1. The postseason will be comprised of a double-elimination tournament using Babe Ruth sanctioned
      brackets.
      1. In the opening round, the home team will be the higher seed.  In the winner’s bracket, the higher seed will be the home team.  In the loser’s bracket, home team will be decided by coin flip.
      2. The team coming out of the winner’s bracket to the championship game will be the home team in that game.
      3. The home team will be determined by coin flip if an “if necessary” second championship game is necessary.
    1. Standings will be based on win-loss record
      1. Tiebreakers:
        1. Head-to-head record
        2. Coin Toss
    1. Pitching in Playoffs
      1. Tournament Rules apply – no more than seven innings pitched in two consecutive games.
      2. No more than seven total innings thrown in one Monday-to-Sunday time period.
      3. Two days of rest are not required in the playoffs.
    1. As in the regular season, in the playoffs, positional substitutions are subject to free substitution and everyone bats.

  1. Miscellaneous Game Play
    1. Each team must have at least eight players present in order to hold an official game.
      1. If there are fewer than eight players on either team, the teams can scrimmage, with the team
that has more than eight players loaning field players.
      2. The team with fewer than eight players must forfeit.
      3. The umpires are not required to stay and call the scrimmage *IF* the game is forfeited due one team not having enough (fewer than eight) players.  This applies even if the teams decide to scrimmage.
